My experience with boogietrips was amazing. Since the moment I contacted Nic by email I received a very fast response with answers to my questions as well additional information relevant to my trip and phone number in case I preferred to talk thing over by phone and social media contact information for a more instant reply. Nic explained all the accommodation options and offered his recommendation on the custom package that best suited me. Booking process was very easy and smooth.
Arriving to the Sintra Surf house was very easy following Nic’s instructions. The house is great, has all the needed amenities like wifi, heaters, complete kitchen and utensils, flat screen TV with satellite channels, rooms are very spacious and the house was very clean, neat and organized.
My trip package was a 2 day surfari which included all the gear in perfect condition as well as Nic’s knowledge on the best waves in the area depending on the conditions. This is where Nic really goes all out of his way to provide the best bet on your trip dates. The location was amazing and the wave was very accurate to what I liked. Had an awesome time in the water with Nic and the session was super fun with perfect conditions. Not only did we (my wife and me) had fun that day on the beach, but awe also wanted to take some time from our trip for sightseeing. Nic also helped us out on that part, offered his local knowledge of Sintra and even drived and guided us on the tourist spots.
Sintra is a beautiful little town with amazing history, scenery, palaces and restaurants. Nic even recommended us a great restaurant outside of the tourist trap ones which offered great local Portuguese cousine at very cheap prices. The food is amazing, and people are very nice and most of them speak english and or spanish which was great for us.
On our last night, Nic brought us to a restaurant near the surf house which was absolutely amazing. Be prepared to get really full cause the food is great and they serve huge portions.
I can say that in all, my Sintra experience was great. Had an amazing time with Nic and the boys in the water, sightseeing was very cool, the food is excellent and the treatment and service I got from Nic was superb. I will definitely come back more frequently for surf getaways since Portugal is so amazing and has great conditions year round and it’s very easy to access from where I live in Madrid. I even left Sintra with a great new board and bag which was a plus jaja.
Overall, we left Sintra with a great impression, amazing memories and with a new friend and surf buddy….yewww!
